When I was a kid I loved to draw and thought I was gonna be an 'artist', and this ranged from a cartoonist (grade school) to working in Illustration (grade 12).
After high school I just fell out of inspiration and into discouragement and pretty well stopped drawing for enjoyment. It was sad.
But lately I've been wanting to start drawing for fun again so I have decided to do a 30 Day Drawing Challenge to help set a goal for me to draw again. I didn't read through all the days 'til I was rewriting them so I think I'm gonna have trouble with some but oh well...guess that's what makes it a challenge. Also my writing is super messy here, don't judge it.

The first challenge is to draw myself, which is something that I haven't done quite a few years.
To the right is the last drawing I'd done of myself. I really did look like that back in 2008. Those glasses, gah.
Looking back, there's a lot I would do different with this drawing. Oh well. C'est la vie.
Anyways, this is my real drawing for Day 1: Yourself
I'm really rusty so I decided to not go into a lot of detail with this one. Guess it's a good thing I decided to start practicing again.
