365 Project: January 2013

I decided to do the 365 project this year by taking a photo a day. I'm not being super artistic with it, in fact, thus far all my photos have been taken with my iPhone 4 camera so many of them are very grainy. But nonetheless, I decided I would try to document my year through photos and short blurbs about each day. I'm surprised I only ended up with one shoe shot, and 3 self-cam shots this month. I wasn't going to share the photos with everyone but decided, hey, why not.

If you want to see the full size photos for each day visit my ShutterCal and
click the day to enlarge the photo and see my blurb for the day.

But here are 5 of my favourite photos from this month:
Picture
January 9, 2013: seriously regretting not booking more time off work to spend in London with my cousins.
Picture
January 13, 2013: Sydney and Kimchi are dapper cats. It’s my last night in London, it’s sad. This time we watched lots of House as well as Community.
Picture
January 16, 2013: Chocolates from Paris. Most were coffee or espresso on the inside, which is not my cup of tea, but look at how cute the box design is. Love.
Picture
January 27, 2013: food coma from having ayce sushi for lunch and Krispy Kreme for dessert with the church fam.
Picture
January 29, 2013: snow on the ground, fog in the air, and rain drizzling down. appropriate weather for how I feel
Are you doing the 365 project this year? If so, how are you keeping track and sharing your photos?

I went to London (Ontario) for a mini vacation this past week with my cousins and on Saturday night we had a little dinner party. Visit Stephanie Mackenzie's new blog to see the pictures that I took of our delicious food. We also had a great lunch meeting at the cutest little cafe called The Bag Lady Variety and started planning an art show together. Holy Hungry Artists 2013. Stay tuned for more on that.

      My studio is called
      "The Fortress".
But really, my 'studio' is just my bedroom over-flowing with fabric, yarn, buttons, paint, and what ever else I think could be used to make something out of some day.
Eventually I will have a real studio, but until then I've got a desk and a
brain  with ideas. This blog is where you can
      see what I've been up
      to in my spare time.
