Tim Burton's "The Corpse Bride"
It's been almost two months since I've posted, mostly because October was a
crazy month for me seeing as I was working on several different costumes.
Unfortunately I didn't get the best photos of any of them...
because sometimes you're just too busy to even do that.
This halloween it rained to my two cousins and I went out trick-or-treating in our
Nightmare Before Christmas costumes from last year, and then changed into the
ones I made for this year afterwards for a small get together. It took over a month of
work and probably a little too much money to put these three costumes together.
They were all handmade by myself from materials and clothes mostly bought at thrift stores.
We also entered a costume contest at the Burlington Toy Convention
and took home first prize for our group costume!
Here are a few more photos of us at the convention:

Below is a photo set from actual Halloween night.
We didn't do our make up full out because it would have taken far too long.
The makeup from the photos above took over 4 hours to complete for the three of us.

And these are just bonus pictures from the Toy Con last year where my sister wore my costume for Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story. She won second place! And on the right is me wearing it in 2010.
Photos taken from my own camera, Wild Bunny Hair Studios, and the Burlington Toy Con Flickr.
Also check out my sister's company "Closet Geeks" For all your anime, gaming, and japanese needs!
And also a special shout out to my dear cousins, Jasmine and Ally, for putting up with
me when I get into crazy halloween costume mode. I couldn't do it without them :)
