In actuality, I don't have a real studio...yet. I do most of my work in my bedroom which has already run out of room from my boxes of fabric, racks of yarn, shelves of beads, tool boxes and whatever else I deem as potentially useful (i.e., everything I find) store here. There's a lot of stuff, but it's all organized so it's alright; I just can't wait until I can have a whole room for all of it and more.
So today I reupholstered an old chair which was part of a patio set at a garage sale, which my parents used for our kitchen dining area but since it was replaced last summer it has been sitting in our garage. I decided it was time to replace the ultra-uncomfortable chair at my desk with something that had a cushion, and since I want to transition into white accents rather than the silver currently in my room, I thought this would be a good start.

And below is the chair (reupholstered) in the desk area of my room, along with the matching curtain cover I made last week for the racks of yarn and the lace iMac screen cover I sewed to distract me from wanting to be on my computer too much (and keep the dust off and look cute).
That lovely grey floral fabric is new this season at Ikea and I only picked up a meter of it in both grey and white, so I think I will need to go get some more so I can do more with it; I'm thinking maybe throw pillows or more mini curtains to hide my craft supplies.
